China to Adopt Four Measures to Speed up the Reform of Income Distribution System PDF Print E-mail

It was known by the reporter from the ongoing 13th session of the 11th Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) that China will adopt four measures to speed up the reform of the income distribution system.

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) together with relevant departments conducted careful deliberations on the Opinions and Proposals on the Report of Transforming Economic Growth Mode and Adjusting Economic Structure put forward at the tenth session of the 11th Standing Committee of the NPC and raised the measures to improve work. On the sidelines of the 13th session of the 11th Standing Committee of the NPC, the Standing Committee General Office printed and distributed to the members of the Standing Committee the report transferred and reported by the State Council General Office from the NDRC on carrying out the opinions of the Standing Committee of the NPC on deliberating the report of transforming economic growth mode and adjusting economic structure.

For the issues related to speeding up the reform of income distribution system proposed by members of the Standing Committee, the report of the NDRC stated that a series of measures will be adopted to speed up the reform of this aspect:

Struggle to increase farmers' income.

Strengthen the support for low-income groups.

Steadily raise the salary income of workers.

Enhance the individual income regulation.
