According to the release of the People's Bank of China on Monday.  At the end of April, M2 money supply stood at 54.05 trillion yuan, an increase of 25.95% over April 2008 and 0.47% over March month end of 2009; April month end M1 balance was 17.82 trillion yuan, up 17.48% over April month end of 2008 and 0.47% over March month end of 2009; M0 balance was 3.43 trillion yuan, up 11.26% over last April month end. 


By the end of April, total loan outstanding balance was 35.55 trillion yuan, increased 29.72% year-on-year, but 0.06% lower than the last month end.  Total loan increased 591.8 billion yuan in April, up 122.9 trillion year-on-year.
